Wise started issuing digital cards (virtual cards) to corporate accounts for Turkish-owned American LLCs.
As it is known, Wise did not provide prepaid cards to corporate account holders residing in Turkey, even if they were LLC companies. As of today, Wise has now activated the digital card service for Türkiye for corporate class accounts.
What is Wise Digital Card?
Wise digital cards are a virtual prepaid card that allows you to spend money securely around the world with low conversion fees, just like physical Debit cards.
What is the use of Wise Digital Card? Where can it be used?
We can say that it is a very useful product, especially for many sellers who want to purchase goods with the earnings obtained from marketplaces such as Amazon. Once the Amazon store is integrated with Wise, Amazon revenues withdrawn to the Wise account can be used for trading purposes thanks to the Wise digital card. Additionally, Shopify can be used in a similar way for Dropshippers, making things much easier. These digital cards can be used not only for trading purposes but also on many other platforms.

- Spend from online stores
- Shop online, get subscriptions and pay with your digital card information.
- Meet many of your needs such as digital product purchase, software purchase, hosting, server and domain procurement.
- Add to Apple and Google Pay
- Spend online with Apple and Google Pay or in stores that accept contactless payments
- Use a digital card with an llc you trust to share your information with.
Create a new digital card instantly and protect your security by replacing your card (deleting and creating a new one) whenever you need it.
While this service was active in corporate accounts in many countries, it was still in the preparation phase for Türkiye. As of today, Wise has launched digital card applications for corporate accounts.
By the way, physical card applications cannot be made yet, this service has been activated only for digital cards.
Wise Digital Card Application
First of all, we would like to point out that this service is not yet available for Wise individual accounts. This service is currently active on Wise Enterprise class accounts. After your Wise corporate account is active (or if you are an active Wise corporate user), log in to your panel and access the “Cards” section.
There was previously a join waitlist button under the Cards tab. Now that the service is active, you can see the “Get Digital Card” button instead.
In order to get a digital card, you must first meet the following two conditions:
- You must have a balance in your Wise corporate account
- Verify your identity (via EIN letter)
You can continue and move on to the next stage.
To verify your company and identity, Wise asks you to upload the EIN confirmation letter (Cp-575 or 147-C).
Upload the requested EIN confirmation document in PDF format.
Once you upload the requested EIN approval letter, you will see a message informing you that you have entered the review and approval process.
After the review phase, Wise will inform you via e-mail and customer panel.
If the uploaded documents are reviewed and you are found suitable, you will now be able to use your Wise digital cards. Your cards will be activated approximately two business days after you upload the documents.
You can create multiple cards. You can even allocate multiple cards to your team and set usage limits.
You will be able to manage your cards from the cards tab in the Wise panel (as shown below). You can find many settings such as setting limits for cards, enabling or disabling online shopping, and freezing the card in this tab.

Has Wise stopped issuing digital cards to US companies residing in TR? Do you have any information? I opened my Wise business account, and I received emails saying "your account information is ready for use" and "your account is ready" (15 minutes after making the account payment). My account numbers have been created. However, when I go to the "cards" tab, there is a warning that we cannot issue business cards to US companies. There is no mention of a digital card. Will this statement be active later, when the approval process is completed?

There is no clear information on this subject, sometimes the card part is active, sometimes it is not, if you want, you can create a notification to the wise support department and confirm.

We can recommend New Mexico as the most advantageous state for Stripe. It is filed in 2 days, there are no annual costs and fees.
It depends on the situation, it may take 2 weeks to arrive or it may take 6 weeks. It completely depends on the herd density, if you are unlucky it may come early.

It is active in some accounts but not in others. Since the application has just been activated, it will probably be reflected in all accounts soon. If you wish, you can log in with your account and submit a support request on the issue.

No, it shouldn't be related to that, this feature is already in active accounts used by Turkish citizens opened with Us LLC.
