if the SS4 form does not come with a fax, it does not matter, you are probably lucky. Irs documents are mailed to addresses in bulk, maybe you came across the mailing time and the mail arrived quickly, no problem. You can continue your transactions
On October 12, I applied to form an llc in the state of Montana, by paying only the Basic Entity Formation fee of 35 dollars, from incauthority. The name I applied for the company appeared to be empty, but a week later, I received a warning that there is an llc with the same name from Montana. I applied again with a different name, because of incauthority..1 week. Then the company setup was completed. Then incauthority sent me an ein application form and a contract where incauthority could carry out transactions on behalf of my company. I did not sign the contract, I just signed and sent the ein form. 2 weeks later, I sent an e-mail to ask about my ein status. They wrote that they did not receive a form signed by you, idiots. again. I sent it. Then I sent an e-mail asking if you had received the form for confirmation. There was no response. It continued like this for 2-3 days. I saw that it was not working. I left a low-rated comment on Truspilot for incauthority... They came back after 3 hours. They immediately sent the fax to IRS and sent the fax transmission number. After 1-1.5 weeks, they sent me my e-mail address via e-mail.

Latest applications take a shorter time, maybe because yours is old, wait another week, then call the IRS at the number below and wait until the line drops. I sent the fax on September 10. I waited for an answer for 1 week, but there was no answer, so I called the number above. I told the representative that I applied by fax, and after receiving my name and personal information, he asked for some information on the form. After getting the necessary information, he went to do research, and I waited for about 10 more minutes. After confirming the company information, he gave his eIN number. I also asked him to send this information to the fax number, he said that this method was not secure, the information would be sent by mail, and he asked me to confirm verbally the sending of my information by fax, and after confirming, he sent it by fax.
You waited 10 days, if you had waited a few more days it would have arrived at your mailing address. Again, congratulations for your perseverance :)
