Why should I connect the wise account to paypal, that is, won't I receive payments directly to the wise account? What advantage will paypal have for me in this regard?

Paypal is not a bank. PayPal is an online payment system that works over the internet. It enables secure online shopping or sending money to the desired person via just an e-mail address, with or without using a credit card. Payments you receive from your customers who shop via Paypal are collected in bank accounts such as wise and transferred to your own account from there.

This doesn't seem possible. In order to make a transfer from Paypal to a bank account, the paypal account holder (sender) must connect the bank account to which he/she will transfer the money to his Paypal. It is not possible to connect someone else's account to PayPal. Because even when connecting your own bank to your own PayPal account, you are subject to some verification.
