Our advice on whether to form an LLC or C-Corporation;
- If you're looking for liability protection and flexibility (low maintenance, minimal annual expenses, tax flexibility), an LLC is a very good choice for new businesses. LLCs are very easy to set up and manage.
- If you are currently raising venture capital in the US, need to raise capital, or are considering an IPO, you should choose a C-Corporation. US investors want a C-Corporation to invest venture capital.
- Ultimately, it depends on your needs.
